Defeat of the ANTS!

Thanks to Mr. Technician from UNISON, the ants that were playing inside my laptop were CONQUERED and DEFEATED! When we came back to the office after our Thursday lunch, the technician was already cleaning my laptop. Luckily, all the ants inside my laptop were dead and none of the parts were destroyed. He even showed us the pile of ant heads which came from my laptop. According to Mr. Technician, the laptop which he had serviced before my laptop also had the same problem. BUT the ants he found from that certain laptop were alive and he was itching while he was cleaning it. Seems like I'm not the only one who were disturbed by those ants and certainly, I'm not the worst!!! =) I asked the technician what could have caused those ants to invade my laptop. He said that they might have been attracted to the heat emitted by the laptop parts and the most probable cause would be food crumbs.

I was not only able to see those ant heads, but I also saw my laptop from the inside. The laptop might be portable and simple from the outside but it is complicated inside. There were a lot of parts, screws scattered on the table and it is just amazing how the technician knows where each screw should be placed.



So guys, if you don't want your laptop to be opened like this because of bugs and ANTS, please refrain from eating while you are using your laptop. Also, make sure that the surface where you have placed your laptop is clean and there are no food crumbs or anything that bugs would like. Or else...you might just be surprised to see different creatures invading your precious laptop. :P

But there is this man (I don't know if he is a man) who wants to be in the picture too. **oooooohhhhh.....freaky!**

Invasion of the ANTS!

My laptop is infected....with ANTS! As in super duper many red ants! Last Friday, I brought the company laptop home since I wasn't finished with the QA testing I am doing. By Saturday morning, I left it at the table where I usually leave it when I am not using it. I was not able to use it since then because I was busy preparing for my friend's wedding. Then came Monday night... I pressed the power button of my laptop...booting up...Windows XP came up. I had to go down to the kitchen, but when I went back my brother was shouting..."Ate, nilalanggam yung laptop mo!". There it is...a lot of red ants are swarming in my laptop! Where in the hell did they come from!?! I kept them away from my laptop and I even killed some of them (poor ants :( but I had nothing else to do...). After an hour...No more ants...I thought...but I was wrong. When I looked at the back of my laptop, I saw a lot of ants again. They have formed a long line already. They were coming in and out from an open tunnel in the hinge of the laptop (the one that connects the keyboard part and the LCD). I was deeply thinking how they got in there. I don't think any food crumbs or drinks could get inside that hinge. Oh my God! I don't know what to do! I called my boyfriend, searched the net for information but I can't get anything that would help me. I left it running and when I woke up, they are still there. I had nothing else to do. So I asked our admin assistant to call the company which provides support for the laptops to help me with this problem. Hopefully, they would not void the warranty and get rid of those ants free of charge.

xo crazy over him

Last week, I went to Bench Body in The Block to buy something. I was with my boyfriend then. I went to the cashier to pay for the two items. I gave her the payment and then while I was fixing my wallet, she gave the change to my boyfriend, as well as the items I bought and two freebies. I don't remember what my boyfriend said, but I think he was telling me that I'm going to like the freebies. When I looked at the freebies, all I can say was.... "Ahhhhhh! Si John LLoyd!" Guess what!?! I got a Bench pocket calendar! There were actually two pocket calendars given to me, the other one has Richard Gutierrez as the cover. I don't like him at all so I asked the cashier to just replace it with another John Lloyd calendar. Good thing she did! Here it is...



Aside from the calendar, I also have a full page copy of his "GOOD BOY" ad for Bench. My boyfriend likes Bench apparel and he got this Bench magazine when he bought something. When I browsed through the pages, there it is! Full page! Without any questions, I kept the magazine for myself.

The list is not over yet! Do you know what my boyfriend gave me last Christmas? The complete DVD set of Maging Sino Ka Man Book 1! That would mean lots of John Lloyd marathon hours. Hahaha! Now, with the help of my laptop, I am going to make copies of the DVDs so that I wouldn't scratch the original ones since I am planning to keep it as my collection. weeeeeeee!

Hopefully, I'll get more goodies. Will somebody be able to give me the John LLoyd Cruz billboard? (even those posted in the branches) =)

I know... I know... It's super late to post these videos. But I just really want to share what happened...

Thursday...the original plan was only Jhon and Chris will go out and have some drinks. But Chris decided to bring Khei along and I also wanted to go. After work, I went straight to Packo's Grill in Tomas Morato. They went to another bar before going to Packo's so as I expected, they look like they have already taken a dose of alcohol =). It was nice because Chris and Khei went out together. It was ages ago since they both attended a get-together or a gimik since someone needs to stay with their little boy, Andrei.

It looked like we are having a double-date...an unusual one...coz we are not in a fine dining restaurant, but we are in a bar and the table was filled with beer bottles and "pulutan". Another thing, its not a Jhon-Cyt, Chris-Khei date but it was the other way around. It was a date for Chris and Jhon, and for me and Khei. Chris and Jhon were actually acting like they were lovers and I think they were really cute in doing that. Khei and I were really laughing at them.

As for me, I know I needed to take some alcohol that night. I've been really stressed at work and I need a break! (an alcohol break! hehehe) First bottle....Second bottle...going for third... I know I'm not drunk, but certainly, I am getting crazier. Actually, during my first trip to the restroom, I was getting tipsy but I didn't want others to notice it, especially my boyfriend. He wouldn't allow me to take another bottle if he sees me that way. I need more alcohol! Bwahahaha.

Its past 1pm when we called our long-lost friend Jeff. I think he flew from his office because it only took him 10 minutes to get there. He also brought a friend with him. I almost forgot! Chris and Jeff will be celebrating their birthday tomorrow. HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHRIS AND JEFF! As expected, if Chris and Jeff are together, the craziest things will happen. Chris is already drunk that time and he kept on talking and talking and talking. Actually, his alter-ego came out.

The boys had a lot of fun talking about the past... the elementary and high school days...their crazy and funny stories. Chris and Jeff were telling a lot of their 'kalokohan'. I miss the BFF and CMARVS days! I'm hoping we'll be complete again.

We were teasing Jeff about the much-awaited wedding of Clarisse (they have a wonderful past...wooohooo..do i need to say the blackboard story?) Here he is, grieving...but I don't think his friends are comforting him.

Fourth bottle....my boyfriend was already telling me to stop drinking. It was not only me who needs to stop, my boyfriend needs to stop playing Jeff's PSP Slim. Since the time Jeff came and he saw the PSP Slim, he never got his hands away from it. He really likes PSP Slim that he is willing to swap his old PSP for the slim version.

After some time, the alcohol has entered my system and my PICTURE ADDICT alter-ego emerged and I went to my boyfriend to take some pictures. I was actually able to drink five bottles. Hope I don't look too bad in the pictures.

We decided to call it a night by 3am (it was dawn already!). Chris and Khei hailed a cab to go home while Jeff and his friend decided to stay at the bar. My boyfriend and I decided to walk to find a 24-hour Strabucks coffee. But unfortunately, we were unable to find one. We really had a great time. It could have been better if the others were able to join us. Hopefully, we'll be complete next time.
