dopie...naked shoes for naked people...

I was able to watch 100% Pinoy tonight and they featured slippers and flip-flops. They featured Liliw, Laguna, Havaianas and the topless sandals. Well...the Havaianas and the topless sandals were all trend setters but nothing will beat my Dopie sandals. I knew about the sandals through Us Girls last year (June or July) and I fell in love at first sight. I was really excited and I told my boyfriend about it. At first, he doesn't like it and he was hesitant to buy. I was disappointed because I wanted buy similar pair of Dopies for us. =( I've been bragging him almost everyday but he doesn't really like it. But one day, in one of our phone conversations, he just said that he saw a guy in the MRT wearing Dopies and he liked it when he saw it personally. At last...he likes it!

Since it was nearly his birthday, I decided that I should give it as a gift to him. Sadly, on the week before his birthday, I called every Chocolate Clothing store but there were no available sizes for both of us. Huhuhu... I really waited for the next stocks to come that I even called the distributor to ask when the next stocks will be delivered to the shops. Fortunately, we got a pair of Dopies in Chocolate Clothing in The Block. We got two pairs of RED DOPIES (lovers!). Since then, it was happily ever after for us and our Dopies.

The good thing about the Dopie sandals is that it is really comfortable to wear and its unique design catches every eye. I don't see a lot of people wearing it and we always catch people staring at our feet when we are wearing them. As if they wanted to ask where we got them, but I don't want to tell them! =P My mom even asked how much I bought them but I don't want to tell her the price because she'll get MAD! Totally MAD! My aunt and my cousins liked it. One of my cousins even texted me to ask where and how much I bought it because she saw them in a store in MOA and she likes to buy one coz they're really cute and one-of-a-kind. I have been wearing these sandals almost everyday especially during casual days in the office. I can wear them indoors and outdoors. During our company Christmas party, this is the only footwear that I brought along, nothing else. It was really comfortable to wear it feels like you're not wearing any footwear. The straps are provided for beginners and you can remove the straps if you don't want them or you are already comfortable not wearing the straps (I haven't tried removing the straps yet..)

It's really wonderful to have a pair of Dopies. I'm loving it! I can't get enough of it! I want to buy more pairs! Hopefully, my budget would allow me in the coming months. =) Or hopefully, my boyfriend gives me a new pair for my birthday ** wink wink **

I want my cinnamon roll...

Ever been in a bad day? All you wanted is a piece of something to cheer you up, but then you don't get it. So disappointing! Crap! I wanted that cinnamon roll badly...I'm craving for it the whole day...I went to Starbucks just to buy one. I know its partly my fault that I didn't check the contents of the bag before I left. I should have checked it while I was inside the cafe. Ohhh! I really felt bad seeing that the bag doesn't have my precious cinnamon roll..it was something else...I can't go back since I was already in the cab.I don't even know the name of that pastry and it smells really bad although it still has cinnamon in it. My cappuccino lost its partner. Now, I'm still craving...I want my cinnamon roll!!! huhuhu :'(

mini-mini-moo

Mini-mini-mini-moo...my birthday is fast approaching and I want to buy something for myself. Last month, I was planning to buy a new phone to give justice to my N70 which has been with me for almost 2 years already. But I also wanted an iPod...I never had one...except for the fake one my dad brought from China...which I broke 2 hours after I got it. Then I thought, I should buy an iPhone...but then, no one's selling an iPhone here in the Philippines except for those unlocked ones which I think would cause a lot of problems. I am not really fond of buying phones and gadgets from unauthorized sellers especially if the item is modified. Last week, I surfed through Nokia, Sony Ericsson and Apple websites. Then I came with two options: Sony Ericsson w960i and iPod Touch 16gb. After some thinking, I decided that I'll just buy a w960i once it is available in the market. Since I think 8gb will suffice and I'll have a new phone at the same time.

BUT! While I was surfing the net yesterday there was a breaking news... iPod Touch now comes in 32GB!!! My plans were all shattered! 32 GB is already big for me since I'll just load videos which I can just delete once I have already watched them. Now, I'm torn between the two.

Sony Ericsson w960i:

Pros:
  • Mobile phone and media player in one
  • I don't need to buy a new cellphone separately
  • 3g Capable
  • touchscreen with Handwriting Recognition
  • with front and back Camera
  • Wi-Fi Capable
Cons:
  • small Memory: 8Gb
  • non-expandable memory
  • small screen
  • no infrared (Actually...I don't care...there's bluetooth)
  • still not available in the market
  • unknown price

iPod Touch 32GB:

Pros:
  • 32 GB Memory
  • touchscreen
  • wider screen
  • Wi-Fi Capable
  • iPod with Mail
  • accelerometer (I like this feature!)
Cons:
  • media player only
  • not 3g Capable
  • non-expandable memory
  • small screen
  • no camera
  • I need to buy a separate cellphone

Which is which???
